In the special atmosphere of a pub in a small town near the Đerdap dam, love is born between a beautiful pub singer burdened by her past and a serious worker employed at the hydroelectric power plant construction site. Their wedding also marks the beginning of a harsh drama, as the people around them refuse to forget her past and profession.
